Jerome Lowenthal’s influence on generations of pianists can never be underestimated. He has been teaching at The Juilliard School since 1991. He brings forward the legacies of his distinguished teachers, William Kapell, Eduard Steuermann, and Alfred Cortot (with coachings from Arthur Rubinstein). Jerry has performed a prodigious amount of repertoire that includes more than 63 different concerti, which he has played and recorded with many of the world's greatest conductors, including Maurice Abravanel.
